The architecture of a building is conceived with two things in mind: Structural stability, and aesthetic design. The Egyptian engineers had a good grasp of fundamental physics, and the role it must play in the design of structures. ***** Architects then took this knowledge, ***** fused it ***** grand aesthetic design, creating buildings which would become a simple base of reference for all ***** which were built in the future. There are two main materials used to build large structures today; those are stone and steel. Before the ***** of steel, stone was the only material which could possibly be used to build a ***** structure. The Great Wall of China is made of stone, as are all the Roman ruins, European Castles, ***** of course the Great Pyramids of Egypt. Prior to ***** architecture, the use of ***** in the *****ing of large structures ***** entirely unheard of. The fact that they conceived of using stone to build is one thing, but that they were able ***** figure out how to ***** it so well is quite another. ***** use of stone is a principal fundamental aspect to ***** architecture, and as ***** we have the Egyptians to thank.

The use of brick as both a stylistic effect and as a ***** technique (the two ***** somewh*****t symbiotic), is one ***** can be traced back far *****yond the Egyptians. Who is responsible for the concept of the brick is a difficult question to answer. The use of brick as a fundamental aspect ***** modern architecture is undeniable, but who exactly created ***** modern application is to an extent an unanswerable question.
