Introduction
Diversity education is important. Making students more culturally aware can reduce conscious and sub***** racism, and offers the ***** a more historic*****lly accurate framework with which to analyze ***** world around them. It also gives minority students a sense of pride in their herit*****ge.
Over the past twenty years or so, *****re have been maj***** advances in ********** diversity, ***** multi cultural education and diversity training in the classroom. However, there are several *****as that are lacking and there is still a lot ***** work to be done. As the United St*****tes becomes more ethnically diverse, ***** diversity appreciation ***** becoming easier. Appreciation for various ethnicities and heritages is a m*****tter of course for many children growing up. The numbers, however, ***** very misleading.
