Abstract
Although the beginnings of Europeanisation were starting to be felt in the early 20th century, ***** 21st century is witnessing an explosive growth as the nations ***** Europe seek to forge a new ********** across not only international borders, but cultural, political, legal and economic boundaries as well. The ********** Union (EU) is seeking ***** consolidate its gain to date in the form of a new constitution to replace ***** cumbersome multi-documentary framework currently in place, and the euro has largely harmonised currency transactions for ***** majority ***** the EU players. Furthermore, the ***** ***** approached, or has already surpassed, the United States in terms of economic clout, and there ***** been a ***** sense of commonality emerging throughout the member states. Yet, the trend is clear and within a decade or so, most observers would likely agree that such an entity will emerge from the Europeanisation process. To this end, this study examines the geosocial framework in which this process is taking place along several key dimensions, including labor, immigration and refugees; financial and securities; and, legal considerations. An introduction to ***** study in Chapter One is followed by a critic*****l review of the scholarly and relevant literature in Chapter Two. A description of ***** study's methodology in ***** 3 and an analysis ***** the data is provided ***** Chapter 4, with the ***** summary, conclusions and recommendations being set forth in the concluding chapter.
