Within such a system, good beh*****viors are rewarded in a way that is meaningful to the child. Punishment may involve a 'time out' *****, depending on the *****bility of a child to anticipate a reward, may result in having a 'gold star' taken a***** on a sheet, which, after ten ***** stars' are accumulated, would allow a child to receive a desired *****, like ***** candy bar, no homework for ***** weekend, or a gift certificate.

While all ***** may exhibit signs of emotional ***** under stress, students with emotional and ***** disorders show such disturbances even outside of such conditions. Unlike school phobia, they are fearful in a variety of situations. A recent immigrant ***** ***** experiencing a culture clash with the school environment due to linguistic or cultural barriers, but even at home, students suffering from E/BD disorders experience alien*****ion, ***** *****ies, and may even show responses that their p*****nts find bizarre. These ********** do ***** merely ***** a conflict with a specific child or teacher, rather they have difficulty relating to their peer group, **********, and family members all of the time.
