Film Details

Schindler's ***** is based on the novel by Thomas Keneally, with the film released in the United States in December 1993. Directed ***** Steven Spielberg, ***** movie includes a cast of stars including Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Kingsley, Caroline Goodall, Jonathan Sagalle and Embeth Davidtz. It was produced by Steven Spielberg, Gerald R. Molen ***** Branko Lustig, with screenplay ***** Steven Zaillian, cinematography by Janusz Kaminski and music by John Williams.

***** Overview

The film is set in Pol***** in World War II, at the time when Poland was occupied ***** Nazi's. The primary theme of the film is the events of the Holocaust and ***** persecution of Jews. ***** central character is Oskar Schindler, played by ***** Neeson, a Nazi businessman who recruits Jews to work in h***** factory, saving t*****em ***** death in doing so. While he begins the film recruiting the Jews only for his own needs, by the end of the film he is actively trying to save *****m, and saves the lives of over 1200 *****. The film is essentially about the Holocaust, presenting the horror and truth of the holocaust ***** a modern audience by combining a number of stories into ***** *****. The ***** result is a film that presents ***** human side of the Holocaust in all it's tragic reality.

The Story Told

*****'s ***** does not tell only one story but combines several. The first ***** told ***** that ***** Oskar Schindler, the Nazi businessman who became a hero, s*****ving over 1200 Jews. Schindler is ***** your typical hero and has few heroic qualities. He is a shrewd businessman, best at lying, bribing and cheating and is also a womanizer ***** an alcoholic. In the film, we see this Nazi who is using the Jews only as ********** are cheap labor for him, change ***** a m*****n who is willing to risk his life to save these Jews. *****se are the heroic actions of an un***** character. The general plot of the ***** is about ***** *****s that ***** goes through.
