Nowadays there is a widespre*****d misunderstanding of the word 'Jihad'. People interpret Jihad as "any war fought by any Muslim for any reason." But originally Jihad is taken from the Arabic word Ja'hada which means "to strive, ***** struggle." However the other meaning ***** Jihad ***** to strive with wealth and lives in the path of Allah. According to the Quran and Sunnah the Muslims have been obligated with three main points. Secondly ***** must spread Islam as much ***** possible by preaching and telling them the difference between evil ***** good. Thirdly, he must try ***** set up a domination of Islam over all ot*****r methods of *****.

The proper and authentic ***** of Sura 9:73 in Quran says "O *****! Strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm ***** **********. Their abode ***** *****, - an evil refuge indeed." The phrase here does not ask the Muslims to wage war against the ***** but it asks *****m ***** struggle against the *****. Struggle here does not necessarily me***** to wage ***** ***** them, preaching is also ***** as a struggle for Islam. And being firm ***** means to st***** strong against the unbelievers. ***** mentioned reference about Sura 2:16,"Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you d*****like it, ***** you may hate a thing although ***** is good for you, and love a thing that is bad for you. God knows, but you do *****." which is totally wrong. The au*****ntic translation ***** Sura 2:16 in ***** says "*****se are they who ***** bartered Guidance ***** error: But their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction."
If we read the context, it says: "When ***** is said to *****m: "Believe as the others believe:" They say: "Shall we believe as the fools believe?" Nay, of a surety they ***** the fools, but they ***** not know (2:13). When they meet those ***** believe, they *****: "We believe;" ***** when they *****re alone ***** their evil ones, ***** say: "***** are really with you: We (were) only jesting (2:14). ***** will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (To and fro) (2:15).
