No where is th***** problem more evident than within the state ***** Georgia, where according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), 42% of Georgia's f*****th graders operate below basic ma*****matics pr*****iciencies.

The less education and proficiency within the foundational know*****ge to become knowledgeable in higher sciences students receive, the ***** competitive *****y will become on the global market in the *****.

The ***** that Georgia faces is a profound *****e that ***** be*****g experienced on a national level. Students from an elementary school level are not receiving the proper education needed to grasp foundational concepts in mathematics. Math is the universal l*****guage of all ***** science and technological development. Statistics from the ***** suggest that the problem within ***** is facing critical deficiency levels. Only 17% of Georgia fourth graders ***** pr*****icient levels, which is five percent off the national average. Georgia's elementary school students are operating at a lower c*****pacity than ***** national average, which already is significantly lower than the world *****. The future of ***** growth will take place within the technology sector, and the foundation of all knowledge will be reflected in *****.

Not only has statistics revealed ***** Georgia's ***** are in dire need of a solution ***** their severe educ*****tional deficiency ***** mathematics, steps to change educational curriculums have been ineffective. Funding for mathematics training within Georgia elementary schools ***** not seen a significant increase for nearly a decade, ***** legislation has been enacted to change school curriculum for how mathematics is taught. ***** result is that while the rest of ***** United ***** is struggling ***** ***** pr*****iciency within *****, ***** has fallen further behind.
