The Relationship between Income, Socioeconomic Class, and Political Participation

There is a need to revisit the question of 'Wh*****t is ***** relationship between income, socioeconomic class, and political participation?' because the answer ostensibly changes with the more sophisticated young people born into the years between the end ***** ***** Cold War, and the commencement of the Information Age of Technology. By virtue of never having experienced ***** prolonged tension of the ***** War, but having ***** modern warfare as a way ***** life, but different than the Baby Boomers experienced Viet Nam, because modern technology has reduced the casualty rates in conducting war; the *****, socioeconomic status, ***** political participation is more complex as a social research study today ***** it w***** fifty years ago. There is also disagreement as to the data that ********** previously collected to reflect political ***** or a lack thereof (Ellison, Christopher G., and London, Bruce, 1992, 683) (Beckwith, Karen, 1986).

Fifty years ago, income, ***** class, and political participation were predictable, because there was a ***** of inf*****mation, which manifested itself in a lack of awareness of the world beyond the impoverished state dictated by no and low *****s; and ***** of those middle to high income households where the link between education ***** information created a greater ***** ***** the world beyond the household (Crotty, William, 1991, 2).

Racial mi*****rities and rural communities were, until the past two decades, largely associated with ***** that were *****ing income, therefore lacking the socioeconomic status or class to be informed academically or socially ***** a level to be motivated to ***** awareness ***** participation (Zipp, John F., and L*****erman, Richard, 1982, 1140). The data supporting the ***** of minorities in a compensatory or ethnic community driven way have been questioned ***** ***** recent times (Ellison and *****, 683). For this reason too, the contemporary ***** ***** the relationship between *****, ***** class, and political participation is an important study to undertake (Galston, William, 2003).
