Weekly Reflection

You really got to hand it ***** good weather to get people out of their shells and bring out the best in them. We had a great weather this week and as a result the students and teachers *****ok a more active role ***** the safety patrol ***** well as the morning arrivals and afternoon dismissals. These were my daily routine but there was a change of pace though when I attended the regular PTO meeting. The purpose of the meeting was for me to update the PTO officers on the status of the outdoor learning project, to which they gave money *****. We used the ***** funds to build a pergola on campus. The project was in a bit of a standstill due to lack of ***** ***** ***** ***** interim, I was able to get two bids from contractors for the construction of a brick pl*****nter ***** the butterfly garden. The principal indicated that we had enough school funds to partially pay for this *****. The PTO was please with what we accomplished *****-date and they have even encouraged us to hasten the completion ti***** if possible. The next day, I emailed the minutes of the meeting in order for those who ***** to have a record of what ********** place and what ***** agreed upon.

To facilitate the ***** ***** the outdoor ***** area, I *****nt to a local bank and a local hardware store to ask for their help with the project. Both the persons I talked ***** ***** very receptive, ***** the bank manager ***** told me that he will forward our request for donation to his supervisor for favorable consideration. For the hardware *****'s part, they agreed to donate plants ***** the garden area when it is ready. ***** reported the news to the Science Committee in charge of ***** outdoor learning area and ***** were thrilled with the prospective plant donations. I was also able to do some office work for two ********** this week for the data manager while she ***** attending a workshop and when I ***** spare time ***** my teaching duties. It was ***** ***** to learn about what ***** non-academic staff were doing and how they contribute to the overall functioning of the *****.
