section should be a thorough explanation and definition of the subject population (person or thing being studied). The writer must not only identify the subject population, associated demographics, and resulting
data,
but also acknowlegde any possible biases or irregularities resulting from gender, age, race, sexuality, religious beliefs, political affiliation, educational level, etc.
