A Masters thesis proposal is an academic document that a student needs to create in order get permission to write his or her masters thesis.  A masters thesis is usually the last document that a learner will create in order to graduate from a graduate degree program and have a masters degree.  The masters thesis is a huge undertaking that takes many learners months to complete.  Therefore, the Masters thesis proposal is the first step in beginning the masters thesis.

The body of a Masters thesis report should contain separate information that supports the student's wishes to work on a particular masters thesis.  This is where the pupil can outline specific research that he or she has already uncovered that may make his or her own research relevant and timely.  

Finally, the learner will have a conclusion to his or her Masters thesis proposal, which will reiterate the importance of the research and why the student thinks that he or she will benefit from the research.  

Masters thesis proposals are not a grant requests in all cases.  A grant request is a specific document that a student may have to perform if he or she wishes to work on a masters thesis that requires funding.  When a student applies for a grant, the learner will usually have to submit a Masters thesis proposal along with a specific grant proposal that will include a specific financial ask, such as $1,000 stipend for materials needed to complete the project.
