Activity Description and Summary

This program involves purchases of trophies for use with student attendance which is awarded to the classes with the highest attendance percentage for each month in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Three businesses/vendors bid on the provision of trophies and that with the best price chosen. The company named Crown Trophy was chosen for the purchase of the trophies. The price for the trophies were $6.95 each totaling $104.25 with an added $10.00 for shipping totaling $114.25.

Program Outcome Rationale

The rationale for this program is the increasing of levels of attendance in Pre-K through 8th grades in Brooklyn, New York public schools. This initiative is such that motivates entire classes to improve their levels of attendance in classes.
