Career Planning - Extra Credit

This site is a large resource for career planning. It has a section on the First Year Experience Program (which is under construction and pretty useless). It also provides employment links for each of the colleges, a place where employers can post jobs and an online career library with literally hundreds of documents on different career choices, from career advice to descriptions of different careers that are available to students. The Vocational Biographies were extremely informational, and so were the interview tips and ideas about how to dress for interviews. The Interest Itineraries help focus interest and abilities, and the Resume section was really helpful for creating a good, eye-catching resume. The Job Fair link really did not have a lot to offer, like employers who usually attend, or anything like that, and the offsite links were helpful, but it seemed as if a lot of that information was already on the site. Career highlights seemed to be a repeat of the career descriptions and vocational biographies, but it was available without signing in, which was helpful.Buy full Download Microsoft Word File paper
