SAMPLE EXCERPT:

[. . .] The world now is a high tech world and technology previously has helped us achieve wonders and solving this energy crisis wouldn't be any different from that. The engineers and researchers are fully equipped and they all the technology readily available. Events in history has taught everyone a lesson, dependence on oil can be a risky thing to do as most countries are not self-sufficient in it and its very expensive to import. Many new things already have been discovered to produce energy in fact renewable energy; this new renewable energy will change the structure of the world. Countries would no longer be depended on other countries and this renewable energy will change the structure of the world as energy is the number one problem at present. Renewable energy can help produce unlimited energy as energy can be exploited from the sun, which gives that much of energy in one hour which is equivalent to that of 1 year usage of a person. Another way to produce green energy or environmental friendly way to produce energy is through the wind and hydroelectric is another famous renewable energy which is being used the most. Currently renewable energy consist of 9% of United States energy consumption, the policy should focus more and more on this renewable energy as it an answer to the energy crisis.

Hydroelectric Energy

Hydro plant in United States already makes up the largest percentage among the renewable energies; the hydroelectric consist of around 70% of the total renewable energy producing around 370,000 Mega Watt. This resource should be exploited more and more as it is easy to store as compare to other methods of renewable energy and it is easy to produce large amount of energy from this method. Countries who are facing serious energy crisis build a huge damn to produce energy through hydroelectric method so the method is used to produce large amount of energy.

Wind Energy

Wind turbines are used to produce wind energy and it can be used only on those places where wind level is high as sea shores and modern engineering has made it possible to build it on sea where the wind level is at maximum. United States largest wind mill is placed in Texas but more focus should be on placing more wind mills as the country has resources to do it. United States is also placed on an ideal geographical location where in several places wind mill can be build.

Solar Energy

There is plenty of energy which is hitting the earth every day every moment but this plenty of energy is going wasted as it is not exploited in a larger extent. Much of the work should be done in this method of creating energy as it is one of the simplest and easiest methods of producing energy. Geographical location of United States also supports this type of method as most of it parts has 4 weathers. The main issue in this method is how to store the energy engineers are working on this part up till now the best performance of solar method has been observed where energy is produced and used simultaneously but high technology has made it possible to store.

An extremely attractive approach found by researchers and engineers to store Solar Energy is discovered. This idea is to store solar energy in form of chemical bounds in process at a year-round average efficiency significantly higher than the present plants this will also help to reduce land area which is required for the solar set up. Scientific challenges involved in this process also include schemes to convert the solar energy and then store the energy in the form of chemical bonds. Spaced-based solar energy is also one new invention from which energy will be converted and send back to earth from space all these new methods are in its initial stages and expected to grow.

Conclusion

Technology has changed the structure of the world and technology is having its say in everything may it be weapons, transportation or energy. Global energy crisis report has now been given a serious dent thanks to technology. Wind, solar and hydro technology is becoming common day by day and these are the most efficient and environmental friendly way to produce energy. The future looks bright and more discoveries are expected as the main focus of engineers and researchers is on energy production. New methods of production have eased off the pressure on countries that were dependent on other countries for energy.
