3• Differences between public and community health
There is really no difference between the public health and community health in so far as the work of the nurse is concerned, but the subtle differences exist because the public issues are different from the community health issues. The public issues deal with epidemic and large scale changes in the town or city health condition while community health is based on individual and community health practices. One way to ensure better community health is to involve "public enterprise" which is an alternative to privatization. Thus the ownership of important activities like airports, city centers hospitals and other utilities that cater to the public on low profit thus benefiting public welfare is possible through the 'Public Enterprises'.
